It's been eight years of visiting Kenya, and every trip offers a different experience. This year was unique because we executed two significant projects—building a block of toilets in Sr. Chief Mutunkei Primary School and a classroom in Waitua Primary School. These projects were crucial in improving the learning environment for both students and teachers, and the joy of watching the happy faces of the beneficiaries was priceless.

The second reason was that I had been selected to participate in TinMan Lee's master class to hone my photography skills. TinMan Lee, a world- renowned wildlife photographer, brings a unique approach and insights that completely transformed my understanding of photography. The cornerstones of his approach to creating memorable photographs are having a non-distracting background, an innovative composition that captures the essence of what you want to communicate, and capturing the moment that elicits emotion from the viewer. These are the guiding principles of my work in this book.
